The discounted room
rate offered to registered conference participants is $145/night.
Participants have a choice of two
methods to make hotel
reservations at the Lago Mar Resort, Fort Lauderdale.
(1) You may choose to prepay your room as an additional
conference fee.
(2) You may choose to deal directly with the hotel.
If you use method (1), state and local taxes will not be added, since your room will
be paid from the Department of Physics conference account. This
first method of payment is available only until 10 November 2006.
On the other hand, if you use method (2), state and local taxes (11%) will be added to
your room charges.
