Green functions and wormholes ... for beginners

A class project and related thoughts, by T Curtright, U of Miami,
presented at the University of Missouri - Columbia, 6 June 2018.

Comments on the method of images:

Green (1828)  ==>  Kelvin (1879-1883)  ==>  Sommerfeld (1897)

Example with an emphasis on geometry:  G for the 2D ring using p-norm wormholes.

Hyper-spheres, spheroids and general ellipsoids.

G for the grounded circular disk as determined by Hobson (1900) and by Davis & Reitz (1971).

Closing provocations  (a.k.a. going "Hoag wild".)
